M. Disa Allen, DDS

Dr. Allen grew up in Christiansburg, VA where she fell in love with Southwest Virginia and the Blue Ridge Mountains.  She went on to study music and chemistry at the College of William and Mary, where she also became excited by the field of dentistry.  Following college, she pursued her dental career dreams by attending the School of Dentistry at VCU, and graduated in 2012.

Dr. Allen continued her dental education by completing a general practice residency at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  During her residency, she worked closely alongside VA general dentists as well as dental specialists on staff - from discussing complex treatment plans to executing more complex procedures, she was able to comprehensively treat the many dental needs of our veterans with quality care.  Following her residency, she worked with a not-for-profit group practice in the greater Minneapolis area where she was able to expand her expertise while treating patients of all ages.

After a couple years in the land of the arctic air and 10,000 lakes, Dr. Allen, her husband and dog were fortunate to have the opportunity to return to the warm Blue Ridge Mountains to be closer to her family.  Since joining Cave Spring Dental Arts in 2014, Dr. Allen has continued to advance her dental knowledge and skills through continuing education and advancements in dental techniques.  She is so excited to call Roanoke home and have the pleasure to serve the people of Southwest Virginia.
